The description mentioning thyme as a source of courage in ancient Greece made me smile, and the tea itself lives up to that story—it’s sweet and earthy without being heavy. I’ve been brewing it every afternoon, and the spring-plucked leaves keep a consistent, smooth flavor even on the third steep.
The thyme gives it this lovely, unexpected herbal sweetness that plays perfectly against the black tea’s earthy base—it’s like a cozy cup of late afternoon. I’ve been reaching for it every day since the tin arrived, and the leaves are noticeably fresh and prime-season quality.
Brewed a pot this morning and the sweetness really comes through without any bitterness, even though I let it steep a bit longer than usual. The spring-plucked leaves hold up beautifully for a second infusion, which makes the tin feel like a better value.
