Lychee Flowering Tea

The lychee flavor is true to its name—sweet and fragrant without overpowering the jasmine base. I’ve brewed three of the 20 flowers so far and each one unfurls slowly over several steeps, making the tin last way longer than I expected.

The flowers really do bloom wide open in the glass pot, turning the water a soft jade. I got about 20 in the tin, so it's been a nice daily treat for over three weeks, and the lychee sweetness lingers even after the cup cools.

The jasmine hits first, then that lychee sweetness comes through on the finish—it's genuinely like dessert in a cup. I've been brewing one flower per pot and it holds up for three steepings easily, which makes the 20-count box last longer than I expected.
