Øvre Assam Silke-Pyramider

These pyramids are so convenient compared to loose leaf, and the whole leaf quality really shows in how the cup settles. The liquor is smooth and malty with just a hint of that boldness Assam is known for, no bitterness even if I walk away for a minute. A box like this won't last me long.

The second-flush leaves brew up dark and malty, exactly what I wanted for my afternoon cup. Whole leaf in the pyramid really makes a difference—no dust, just a rich Assam taste that holds up even after a few steeps.

The pyramids are so generously filled with whole leaves that the pot keeps giving even after three steeps. That second-flush richness comes through with a proper malty depth, a real treat for slow mornings.
