Heritage Pride of Africa Té de Hojas Sueltas

The loose leaf is beautifully crafted, and the flavor really reflects those eastern highlands with a clean, earthy depth. It holds up well to a second steep, which makes it feel like a solid value for the amount you get. I’ve already added it to my morning rotation.

Brewed a pot this morning and the aroma alone transported me—those eastern highland notes are unmistakable, earthy and bright at once. The leaves are wonderfully robust, holding their flavor through two steepings without turning bitter.

The rolling highlands really come through in the character of this leaf—it’s got that clean, elevated brightness you’d expect from the eastern slopes. I’ve been enjoying it as a mid-morning cup, and the loose leaf format steeps up nicely without any fuss. This one’s a keeper for my rotation.
