Three minutes of steeping and the color turns that proper deep amber I remember from my grandmother's kitchen. It's got that full-bodied richness you want with a splash of milk, no bitterness even if you get distracted and leave the bag in a bit long.
The malty, rich flavor is exactly what I want first thing in the morning, and the 25-bag box means I don't run out for weeks. I keep going back to this blend for that proper, strong cuppa that actually wakes me up.
The brew comes through nicely strong without turning bitter, even after a good five-minute steep. Bag count of 25 works fine for daily use, though I do wish the box had a resealable tab to keep the rest fresher.
