This is my second bag and the almond pieces actually hold up through multiple steeps, which surprised me. The Assam base gives it that proper malty bite I crave in the afternoon, and it doesn't turn bitter even when I get distracted and let it sit.
First cup this morning and the malty depth is exactly what I needed—those almond slivers add a subtle nutty finish without overpowering the Assam. It brews up a rich, dark amber that’s got real body, and the flavor holds up even after a few minutes in the pot.
The almond pieces are what sold me—they actually hold up in the cup and give each sip a subtle, nutty richness that plays perfectly off the bold Assam body. It's a proper full-bodied brew that stands up to milk, and the malty finish lingers just long enough.
