The mini caddy itself is a little showstopper on my shelf with those crystals catching the light, and the malty Assam inside brews up surprisingly smooth for a strong black tea. I’m a sucker for bold cups, and this one delivers exactly that without any bitterness.
The little caddy is heavier and prettier in person than the photos showed, those crystals really catch the light. The tea itself brews up a deep, malty cup with that golden tip sweetness that makes it perfect for a strong afternoon pick-me-up.
The gold-tipped Assam lives up to its bold billing—one strong, malty cup and I was sold. The crystals on the lid catch the light nicely, though I wish the caddy held a bit more than 30g.
