Övre Assam Silkespyramider

The liquor pours out a deep, almost coppery amber, and the maltiness is wonderfully round without any bitterness, even after a full three-minute steep. Those whole leaves really do seem to hold onto that lush, monsoon character the description mentions, and it's become my non-negotiable morning cup.

The whole-leaf pyramid shape unfurls beautifully in the pot, and the second-flush character gives it that deep, malty richness I crave in the afternoon. It's a proper luxury cup, and the remote Assam origin really shows in the complexity.

The monsoon season really comes through in the leaves—there's a deep, malty richness that lingers nicely without any bitterness. I’ve been brewing these whole leaf pyramids for my afternoon cup, and they hold their character even with a quick steep.
