The tin arrived well-sealed and the loose leaves have that proper bergamot brightness, though I'll admit the coronation theme is what sold me. Brews up a solid, fragrant cup that feels a bit special for an afternoon break, and 75g is enough for a good long while.
I grabbed this as a little nod to the historic occasion, and the tea itself is genuinely lovely—the loose leaves are substantial and unfurl beautifully in the pot. The bergamot is present but not overpowering, and it holds up well to a second steep, which I always appreciate.
The bergamot aroma hits you the moment you open the tin—properly fragrant, not shy at all. I’ve brewed it twice now and it’s smooth without turning bitter, and the 75g tin feels substantial, like it’ll last through plenty of cups. Lovely touch to mark the occasion.
